And it's not english class, you don't have to use correct grammar in a song. I mean, she even sang a song about how she kissed a girl, so it'd be kind of hypocritical to make fun of them. I'm pretty sure that Katy Perry would not make fun of gay people.

" Ur So Gay " is a song released by American singer Katy Perry from her debut extended play (EP) of the same name. I'm not arguing that at all. Just calm down. You sound like you're in the everything-sickens-me phase. I know the song isn't about how she hates gay people.

The thing is, she used the term "gay" as an insult. I went through it too, don't worry, and then I realized everything is just hilarious and I'm pretty sure Katy Perry realized that too when she wrote this song. It makes me sick.

I realize it's meant as a light-hearted stab at an ex-boyfriend. Deltasunlight, you're so stupid. Once again, I'm sure she has a billion gay friends, all of whom approve of the song. Even worse is that this song will further encourage young people to use "gay" as an insult.

I have so many gay friends and they think this song is hilarious and I'm bi-sexual and love it. I'm all for being politically correct, but your going too far. If some one says 'that's so gay' it doesn't mean they're homophobic.

Using the term "gay" to mean "less than a man" is incredibly insulting. The song isn’t about Brad Pitt, it’s about self centered pretty boys, she just mentions Brad Pitt so you get an idea of the type of dude she’s singing about. I'm not sure that the people who are offended by her use of the term are accusing her of hating gay people.

To be clear, nobody is saying Katy Perry is a bigot. She probably has a million gay friends who tell her they approve of its use. You're taking it way too seriously.

Katy Perry ndash Ur :

She co-wrote the song with its producer, Greg Wells, while Drew Pearson served as the track's engineer. Nobody is arguing what the song is about, either. Katy wishes the boy would be honest with her about himself. I just don't like that she's going to encourage the year-olds to keep using their already-favorite phrase.

Yes, she couldn't be more well-meaning. It's not much different than when people scream "Jesus Christ" when they slip in the shower. So get over yourself, and stop trying to sound smart, because it's just a song and it's a JOKE.
